When he was right–he was really right. As eccentric as his methods were–there was sense to it.. Agility and swiftness and all of that stuff he was lecturing him on was right. If Nappa taught him the importance of strength and endurance, then Ginyu was giving him a crash course on dexterity and agility. He could feel joints pop and make noises that he wasn’t sure should be making noises. But he relented–he was going to show his fighting SPIRIT! “Hnngh–!!” He growled, forcing his leg even higher and leaning his front down to balance out the elevation

But gravity would win this tug of war. He lost his footing and stumbled forward, landing in the dust face first. “Damn it!” He screamed and punched the ground in frustration.

❛ Settle down, now! There is no need to get this frustrated– you are doing much better than I could have expected from a beginner, and you can only get better from here. Let’s take a few deep breaths and try again, soldier! You’re making your Captain proud. ❜

He beams, putting his hands on his hips. ❛ Look at me, though, watch my feet and center of gravity. I noticed during your initial bend that your footing was off– which in turn threw off your center of gravity! ❜ He imitates Shallot’s pose, foot turned outward slightly, and balanced more on the ball of his foot, gaining seemingly perfect balance, not a single sign of struggle. ❛ You may not get it immediately, but with as hard as you practice, you’ll get there. ❜
